(Newser) – Bill Cosby is coming back to NBC in a sitcom, reports Deadline Hollywood. The show is still in the planning phases, but it sounds to be in the same vein as the Cosby Show of the 1980s—Cosby as patriarch of a family. A network spokesperson tells AP that the 76-year-old Cosby is indeed developing a sitcom, but adds that no deal has been struck yet, not even about producing a pilot. Cosby and his producer (the same one from the original show) are reportedly meeting with writers.
