SNL Names Seth Meyers' Replacement on 'Update'

(Newser) Saturday Night Live has found the guy who will take Seth Meyers' place at the "Weekend Update" desk: Colin Jost, a relative unknown who has been a writer at the show since 2005 and head writer since 2012, will join Cecily Strong as co-anchor when Meyers moves over to Late Night. Jost is a Harvard grad with a Peabody Award, eight Emmy nominations, and three WGA Awards to his resume, notes the Hollywood Reporter. His first night is March 1. (Read more Colin Jost stories.)
