Just when it seemed as if the Miami Heat had hit rock bottom by losing 19 of their past 20 games Dwyane Wade and the gang broke out shovels. The Heat suffered their worst loss of the year at the hands of the Toronto Raptors, a 114-82 drubbing in Miami. Chris Bosh led Toronto with 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting, reports the Associated Press.

Andrea Bargnani added 22 points for the Raptors, who shot a scorching 60 percent from the floor. Dorrell Wright led the hapless Heat with 17 points; Wade only scored 12. The game marked the return of T.J. Ford for Toronto. Ford hadn’t played since being injured on a hard foul by Atlanta’s Al Horford on Dec. 11. (More basketball stories.)
