No. 2 Duke Skies Over Boston College

(Newser) – Boston College shot 55% in the first half to build an eight-point lead, and it still wasn't nearly enough to beat No. 2 Duke today, reports the Associated Press. Kyle Singler scored 24 points and DeMarcus Nelson added 23 as the Blue Devils defeated the Eagles 90-80 in an ACC game. The win was the 11th straight for Duke (21-1, 9-0). In other Top 25 action:

  • Luke Harangody hit four free throws in the final 26 seconds to finish off an 18-point game and lift No. 22 Notre Dame to an 86-83 Big East win over No. 16 Marquette.
  • No. 18 Texas A&M scored 15 straight points to start the second half in a 77-69 Big 12 win over Missouri. David Sloan led the Aggies with 21 points.
