Washington St. snaps 3-game skid, UConn routs Georgia Tech

(Newser) – Derrick Rose scored 15 points and Joey Dorsey had 11 points and 13 rebounds as No. 1 Memphis stayed undefeated with an 85-64 Conference USA rout of Central Florida, reports the Associated Press. The Tigers (23-0, 9-0) kept alive their bid to become the first team to go undefeated in the regular season since the 1990-91 UNLV team. In other Top 25 action:

  • Kyle Weaver scored 17 points to help No. 17 Washington State snap a three-game losing streak with a 74-50 Pac-10 win over USC.
  • Hasheem Thabeet was a one-man show in leading No. 19 Connecticut to an 80-68 non-conference win over Georgia Tech. Thabeet had 24 points, 15 rebounds and six blocks in the Huskies seventh straight win.
