(Newser) – Ooh-la-la, that French president Nicolas Sarkozy has a certain je ne sais quoi when it comes to marrying beautiful women, n'est-ce pas? But now his secret is out and his wife-wooing technique is carefully detailed in three new books rushed to print, reports the Times of London

Sarkozy strategists are hoping the books may boost the hyperactive president's public support, which plummeted when he appeared to take a break from leading his country to woo Carla Bruni. Whether the books help Sarko, they do deliver juicy tidbits. When Bruni first spotted the French president, she confided to a friend that she had "the hots" for him, reports one of the books. Why? "I want a man with nuclear power," she said.
