(Newser) – Weezer drummer Patrick Wilson got a huge roar of approval from the crowd during a show in St. Augustine, Florida, but this wasn't about a drum solo. Wilson managed to a catch a frisbee mid-song and played on one-handed before stashing it in his teeth, reports Rolling Stone. Frontman Rivers Cuomo missed the catch but tweeted his appreciation afterward.

It would have hit me in the face because I close my eyes most of the time when drumming.

To HMunster: you try the coordination of all four limbs drumming differently, keeping time, suddenly being interrupted in that coordination, not missing a beat, removing the interruption, and recovering without missing a beat or coordination. If he had ben soloing it would have been easier, as a solo is improvised and you wouldn't be able to tell an error as easily as keeping ime without interruption. Try it sometime.

Meh... It's not as if he was playing "Wipeout" when he caught the frisbee...
