(Newser) – Ben Affleck's gambling troubles may be far from over—and wife Jennifer Garner is not pleased. After Affleck was banned from one Vegas casino for life over card-counting, he managed to get himself kicked out of another casino, this one in Windsor, Ontario, which happens to be 10 minutes from the Detroit set where Affleck has been filming Batman v. Superman, Radar reports, citing Star. "His hair was a disaster, and he looked like a mess," one witness says. "He sat down and played for roughly 20 minutes before security heard he was there. They made the dealers stop what they were doing and asked him to leave."

Another witness saw him gambling at a Detroit hotel, and agrees that he "looked disheveled" at the time. Garner was planning to take their kids and visit Affleck in Detroit, but recently canceled the trip, another source says. "She just doesn’t want to be Ben’s enabler or babysitter." The source adds that Garner is "completely distraught over Ben's problems," not to mention "absolutely mortified about the Las Vegas incident." Another source says Affleck may need to seek help for a gambling addiction; more on that here.

Celebrities are basically no different and no better than anyone else. Only difference is that they are richer than all of us combined - and only because WE pay the ridiculous movie prices in order to entertain ourselves. I like movies. I enjoy watching people act. I go to movies and live theater as often as I can afford both the cost of getting in and having popcorn. I wonder if Affleck is going to a 12-step program for compulsive gamblers and if Jennifer is attending a 12-step as the spouse of a gambler. The lives of their children might depend on healthy parents. People who have everything (in the eyes of the public) really don't. Money doesn't mean happiness or non-addictions. It's ALWAYS the children who pay.

You might think the casino's management might have watched him a while instead of summarily showing him the door. Nothing better than a drunk patron, with piles of cash, trying his best to lose his money.

Well, a Midwest conservative woman marries a Hollywood liberal (by way of the East Coast), so what else can you expect. He won't get help...I am sure he knows it all. May they both get back to conservative family values and do the "right" thing for their children and their marriage.
