In the run-up to Mississippi's Republican Senate primary, a group called All Citizens for Mississippi worked to get out the black vote. But the only donor to All Citizens for Mississippi was Mississippi Conservatives, a super PAC devoted to reelecting Republican incumbent Thad Cochran, the AP reports based on finance reports. Cochran's win has drawn attention because the incumbent won in large part by convincing black voters to back him over Tea Party opponent Chris McDaniel. The latter is expected to announce today whether he'll formally challenge the results of the race as promised. (More Thad Cochran stories.)
