There were actually TWO children killed this weekend from attacking pitbulls. This baby killed by his step-grandmother's Staffie/pitbull in Ohio and also a 4 yr old killed by his Aunt's pitbull in Florida. Pitbulls are the type of dogs most likely to kill a human if their owner's make even one tiny mistake, so you better be a perfect owner if you have one. They should be called the 0% owner error dog. I wouldn't allow my children to be around a pitbull type dog and I wouldn't have one as a pet if it was the last dog on earth. It's not worth the risk and even the best owners can have a momentary lapse. Don't fool yourself. You aren't perfect either. Your pitbull is the identifiable dog type most likely to show you just how negligent a 99% perfect owner can be.

"The American Pitbull Terrier and the American Staffordshire Terrier both belong to the molesser breed group". Okay, so this was the Pitbull's second cousin, not the Pitbull.
