(Newser) – The Magic were the last team to beat the Pistons before their 10-game win streak, and they routed Detroit at home tonight to end it as well. Orlando led by as many as 26 in the final quarter after outscoring the misfiring Pistons 63-37 in the middle two stanzas. Rip Hamilton led Detroit's starters with just 12 points. Also in hoops:

  • The Rockets overcame LeBron's triple-double—26 points, 13 boards, 11 dimes—to beat the Cavaliers 93-85, achieving their first nine-game road win streak since 1993.
  • New York set a record with 23 overtime points to top Washington 113-100, sending the Wizards to their ninth loss in ten games.
