A new Harry Potter story is on its way. JK Rowling has announced the story's debut on Potter website Pottermore.com, the New York Daily News reports. Appropriately for Halloween, the story will deal with the frightening Professor Umbridge, whom Rowling notes is "not only one of the most malicious Potter characters, she is the only person other than Lord Voldemort to leave a permanent physical scar on Harry." The 1,700-word piece—which will appear on the Pottermore site, the Verge reports—will offer more about Umbridge's background, and readers will get an inside look at Rowling's own thoughts on the character.
