There's a longstanding Hollywood rumor that Judi Dench has Harvey Weinstein's name tattooed on her butt—and Weinstein himself recently revealed to BBC's The Graham Norton Show that the rumor is basically true. As the Hollywood Reporter notes, Dench stuck to television and stage roles for quite some time, until Weinstein persuaded her to take on her first big-screen role, as Queen Victoria in 1997's Mrs. Brown. She was nominated for an Oscar, and then got four more Academy Award nods as she continued to work in the movies with Weinstein. Feeling she owed her film career to him, Dench had just one problem: how to show her gratitude?

"She took me to the Four Seasons restaurant," Weinstein explained on the BBC show. "She said, 'I've got a surprise. You're a guy who has everything. I don't know what to get you.'" Then, in front of other guests including Carly Simon, Mike Nichols, and Nora Ephron, Dench "unbuckles her pants," Weinstein continued. "And on her bum, as you say, was 'JD loves HW'—a tattoo. She said, 'I put your name on my ass.'" At the 2013 Baftas, he added, Oprah Winfrey asked him if the rumor was true, and Weinstein asked Dench to show Winfrey the tattoo—which she dropped her pants and did.
