Mr. T is the latest celebrity to get his own home improvement show, and it's called—obviously—I Pity the Tool. It's slated to debut sometime this year on the DIY Network, and it will feature the tough guy actor helping people in need by doing renovation work on their homes. "I am tough, but deep inside my toughness, I like to let people know I’m an old-fashioned mama’s boy," Mr. T explains to Variety. "I’m really a marshmallow in my heart."

He'll help people like military veterans or those going through tough times; in the premiere, he helps a man he first met back when the man was a teen and had just broken his neck. Other celebrities who've had their own shows on the DIY Network include Daryl Hall, William Shatner, and of course, Vanilla Ice. "These people have built-in fanbases that come to see their heroes do things that they didn’t really know they could," explains a network exec. In Mr. T's case, he got his experience working on demolition jobs before he became famous, and his skills include brick masonry and cabinetmaking, which he learned in high school.
