- No. 20 Drake finished its best regular season in 35 years with a 73-63 win over Wichita State. Klayton Korver led the way with 19 points as Drake finished 25-4 overall and 15-3 to win the Missouri Valley.
- No. 23 Kent State lost its first game ever as a ranked team as Brian Moten scored 24 points to lead Bowling Green to an 89-83 Mid-American Conference win.
