Another day, another senior prank leads to criminal charges. Two teens in North Carolina were arrested after a stunt with alarm clocks triggered a school bomb search, reports WCNC. Police in Troutman say Shannon Marie Farrell and Lekia Hall, both 18, put the clocks in unused lockers at South Iredell High School, then replaced the school's zip ties on the lockers with locks of their own. When the school resource officer heard ticking from inside a supposedly vacant locker and realized he couldn't check it out because of the new lock, he called 911.

About 1,500 students and 200 faculty had to evacuate the building as police searched it with a bomb-sniffing dog. It wasn't hard to figure out the culprits because the plan had apparently been circulated on social media days in advance, reports Statesville.com. Farrell's father, who heard about the plan about a week ago, doesn't get why it's such a big deal. “I thought it was a pretty funny thing." His daughter and King, however, face felony bomb-hoax charges. (Another prank that ended in criminal charges involved 72,000 ladybugs.)
