The Christmas Catalog for the Super Rich Is Here Again Stuff your stocking like the 1% By Michael Harthorne, Newser Staff Posted Oct 6, 2015 6:20 PM CDT 18 comments Comments Stuff your stocking with Keanu Reeves on a motorcycle. (Tim Sharp/Neiman Marcus via AP) (Newser) – You know what they say: Money can't buy taste, but it can buy a motorcycle ride with Ted Logan himself, Keanu Reeves. That's right, it's time again to peek at how the 1% are treating themselves this holiday season with the 89th annual Neiman Marcus Christmas Book, which came out Tuesday, the AP reports. Here are just a few of the items to be found within the pages of this most fancy of shopping catalogs (Please keep in mind that we are not nearly rich enough to know what most of this means): $150,000 gets you a limited-edition chopper from Arch Motorcycle and a two-day ride along the California coast with company cofounder Keanu Reeves. The only way this is worth it is if you force Keanu to spend the entire trip doing his accent from Bram Stoker's Dracula. For $125,000, you and four friends can go barrel hunting (?) for bourbons discovered at old rickhouses (??) courtesy of St. Louis' Stitzel-Weller Distillery. You'll take 24 bottles home, which—if our math is correct—comes out to approximately "too much" per bottle. A mere $10,000 buys a Couture Diary, a product you may have to be exceedingly wealthy to even understand. As near as we figure it, it's a calfskin journal featuring sketches of you wearing your clothes. Also 25-karat gold is involved somewhere. Trying to buy your young children's love? These $5,000 trunks full of superhero and princess costumes for boys and girls should ensure you're the first call they make when they're arrested for insider trading in 20 years.
