John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are expecting their first child, Teigen announced on Instagram Monday night. "John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant," she wrote alongside a picture of Legend touching her belly. "As many of you know, we've been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn't been easy, but we kept trying because we can't wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We're so excited that it's finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching!" On more practical matters, she tweeted Tuesday morning: "I am so excited I could barf 4-5 times a day."
As Us reports, the 29-year-old model discussed their struggles to get pregnant just a few weeks ago on an episode of FABLife. "I would say, honestly, [that] John and I were having trouble. We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened, but my gosh, it’s been a process," she said. She and Legend, 36, have been married since 2013. "I want a huge family," she's said in the past. "We want a lot of kids."
