(Newser) – Eighth-ranked Wisconsin held Michigan to only 10 field goals and 20% shooting to win 51-34 in the lowest scoring game in Big 10 tournament history. The Badgers didn't exactly light up the scoreboard either, making a mere 34% of their shots. UW's Joe Krabbenhoft was high man with 12 points, reports the Journal-Sentinel. In other Big 10 tournament quarterfinal action:

  • The third time was a charm for Illinois, the 10th seed in the tournament, which knocked off 17th-ranked Purdue in overtime 74-67. Demetri McCamey scored 26 points for the Fighting Illini, making all six of his three-point attempts
  • Michigan State, led by Drew Neitzel's 28 points, defeated Ohio State 67-60, avenging a loss from just five days ago.
