Prince once wrote a song about Donald Trump, BuzzFeed reports. As if the current Republican presidential frontrunner needed another boost to his ego. USA Today points out "Donald Trump (Black Version)"—which appeared on 1990 album Pandemonium by R&B group The Time—is a "seduction song." Here's the chorus:
"Donald Trump (black version), maybe that’s what you need.
A man that fulfills your every wish, your every dream.
Donald Trump (black version), come on take a chance.
A 1990s love affair, the real romance."

"It's almost as if this could be the 2016 Trump campaign's theme song," the Washington Post states. Instead, Prince wrote the song for a never-released Time album that was intended as a "black rewrite of Wall Street," and it later ended up on the 1990 album. Whether or not he was aware of Prince's ode to him, Trump tweeted his own tribute to the musician Friday: "I met Prince on numerous occasions. He was an amazing talent and wonderful guy. He will be greatly missed!" (More Prince stories.)
