Justin Bieber made a dying girl's final days a little better, her mom says in a touching note to the star posted on his Facebook page Monday. Kaylee Drew, 9, died Saturday of acute myeloid leukemia; Bieber had made the Boston girl's dream come true by visiting her in the hospital last May, CTV News reports. "She had been following you since the beginning," Pam Drew writes on Facebook. "I need to make sure you know how much you made her happy."

Drew adds that toward the end, Kaylee was unresponsive to everything—until a paramedic put a Bieber song on and let Kaylee listen. "My daughters [sic] head bounced up and down a few times and she smiled," Pam Drew writes. "Thank you so so much. I hope you know you are the sweetest, kindest person." No response yet from Bieber. Meanwhile, the singer turned down a $5 million offer (which reportedly would have been his biggest-ever single payday) to perform at a GOP event during the RNC last week, TMZ reports. Sources tell the gossip site that Bieber's talent agency, manager, band, and even LeBron James urged him not to take the gig. (More Justin Bieber stories.)
