During a visit to a Harlem shelter for homeless LGBT youth as part of NBC's #ShareKindness campaign, Lady Gaga revealed that she struggles with post-traumatic stress disorder after being raped years ago. "I told the kids today, 'I suffer from PTSD.' I've never told anyone that before," Gaga told Today in a segment that aired Monday. "So here we are. But the kindness that's shown to me by doctors as well as my family, and my friends, it's really saved my life." During her visit, she led the teens in a short meditation. "I don't have the same kind of issues that you have, but I have a mental illness and I struggle with that every day," she told them, "so I need my mantra to help keep me relaxed."
