Kim Kardashian West says she "mentally prepped" herself to be raped while being held at gunpoint during a Paris jewelry heist last year. Kardashian West discussed the incident on Sunday night's episode of the E! network's "Keeping Up With the Kardashians," the AP reports. With sisters Kourtney and Khloe by her side, per E! News, the 36-year-old revealed that two robbers wearing police uniforms entered her hotel room last October. One of the robbers duct-taped her mouth while she was in bed, grabbed her legs, and pulled her toward him. "I thought, 'OK, this is the moment they're going to rape me,'" she said. "I fully mentally prepped myself—and then he didn't."
Instead, Kardashian West said, she had a gun held to her head, at which point she was sure she was going to die. "I just prayed that Kourtney's going to have a normal life after she sees my dead body on the bed," she said. Kardashian West says the men finally picked her up and put her in a bathtub before making off with jewelry. The reality star also addressed the incident on Twitter on Sunday. "I took a tragic horrific experience and did not let it diminish me," she tweeted, noting she instead "grew and evolved and allowed the experience to teach me." She added in a followup tweet: "I can say I've become so much better because of it." Ten people have been charged in connection with the case. (Read more Kim Kardashian stories.)
