The long suspected and newly confirmed romance between Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough went under the Saturday Night Live spotlight, with Kate McKinnon and Alex Moffat poking fun at the pair's awkward sexual tension during the show's Cold Open. As McKinnon needled Moffat about "your Republican party," Moffat told her to cut it out "because you know it pushes my buttons." "Does it," McKinnon replies breathily, "push your buttons?" Lest one think the show was giving President Trump the night off, the pair took a call from White House rep "John Miller," aka Alec Baldwin, who the New York Times notes tells the pair "I'm kind of new here," before adding, ""I want to wish everyone a happy Cinco de Mayo, which is the day all Mexicans eat a sink full of mayonnaise." Another McKinnon character later resurfaces—sort of—in a "Where in the World Is Kellyanne Conway?" game show, in which the kid contestants decide they don't want to know.
