Flames Rally for 4-3 Win Over Sharks

(Newser) – Owen Nolan scored with 3:45 left as the Calgary Flames rallied from a three-goal deficit early in the first period and beat the San Jose Sharks 4-3 Sunday night. Ryane Clowe, Patrick Marleau and Doug Murray scored in the first 3:33 against Miikka Kiprusoff. Veteran backup Curtis Joseph then replaced Kiprusoff and shut down the Sharks the rest of way.

Jarome Iginla, Daymond Langkow and Dion Phaneuf scored for the Flames, who took a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven first-round series.
