Late Late Show host James Corden thinks he's come up with a can't-miss way to get President Trump more involved in the fight against AIDS. He has sent 297 copies of the movie Philadelphia to the president's Mar-a-Lago country club in Florida. On his show Tuesday, Corden explained that he was troubled to hear that six members of Trump's AIDS advisory panel quit because they felt the president didn't care about the issue, reports USA Today.

Corden recalled that he became concerned about AIDS only after seeing the 1993 Tom Hanks film, and "I was thinking maybe that's the problem here," he said. "Maybe Donald Trump doesn't care because he's never seen Philadelphia. In fact, I'm almost certain that's probably what it is." Solution: His crew bought as many copies as they could online (hence the 297 figure) and sent them to Mar-a-Lago. Why the country club? Corden says he struck out when he called the White House to ask about sending a copy there. (Corden says he once spanked Trump.)
