Beyonce reportedly just gave birth to twins, so, not surprisingly, she wasn't in attendance Sunday night at the BET Awards. But she still spoke out, via Chloe and Halle Bailey, who accepted on her behalf when she won the viewers' choice award for "Sorry," USA Today reports. The sisters, who perform as Chloe x Halle, have been Beyonce's proteges for years. "Thank you, BET, for this award and your tremendous support of Lemonade," Chloe said, reading a speech written by Beyonce. "This has been a journey of love, of celebrating our culture, honoring the past, and approaching the present and future with hope and resolve." The speech went on to thank her family, team, and fans.

Beyonce and husband Jay Z have yet to publicly announce the twins' arrival, but sources (including Beyonce's dad) have confirmed the news to multiple media outlets. TMZ and E! both ran stories Monday saying the twins are now home from the hospital, having been born prematurely and spending a week and a half at UCLA Medical Center under lights, likely to cure jaundice. They were reportedly released toward the end of last week, and the family is said to be staying in a $400,000-per-month rental home in Malibu while they look for a permanent home in LA. An E! source tells the site the twins are "doing great," and another says they appeared healthy. Vogue rounds up the rumors swirling around the twins' arrival; Beyonce is said to have given birth to one boy and one girl. (More Beyonce stories.)
