The sexual harassment allegations wracking virtually every segment of society predictably surfaced on the latest episode of Saturday Night Live, but the New York Times notes that the man currently in the crosshairs made the show's approach "especially delicate." The show pulled no punches in the case of Al Franken, the Democratic senator and SNL alum accused of groping and forcibly kissing a woman on a 2006 USO tour.

Appearing next to the now-infamous photo of Franken mugging for the camera as he reaches out for the sleeping woman's breasts, Weekend Update co-host Colin Jost said, "Sure, this was taken before Franken ran for public office, but it was also taken after he was a sophomore in high school. It’s pretty hard to be like, 'Oh, come on, he didn’t know anything—he was only 55.'" Episode guest host Chance the Rapper did wax poetic for another Democrat, performing a Boyz II Men-esque ballad called "Come Back, Barack." More sketches in the gallery. (Franken has apologized for the photo but says he has a different recollection regarding the kiss, which came during a rehearsal.)
