(Newser) – Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora may have to take extra care next time he gets behind the wheel of a steel horse, but the axman will be staying out of jail after cutting a deal with prosecutors over drunk driving charges, E! Online reports. The guitarist, busted last month for driving under the influence with his 10-year-old daughter in the car, will be livin' on informal probation for three years.

(NEWSER) - A man spotted driving erratically on a stretch of New Mexico highway notorious for drunk-driving deaths was hogtied by a witness until police arrived. The man, seen barely avoiding head-on collisions as he drove southbound in northbound lanes, was confronted by fellow motorists when he pulled over at a convenience store. (NEWSER) - This scandal is a bit worse than having a stripper past : Miss USA 2010, Rima Fakih, was arrested over the weekend in Michigan and faces drunken driving charges. Oddly, Fakih initially attempted to deny the reports, tweeting yesterday: "Let's clear things up now. ... I'm NOT in Michigan and I'm NOT in jail! Wrong Fakih." That tweet was later removed, People reports, and the 26-year-old's attorney confirmed the arrest today. More»
