Jeopardy! Football Questions Did Not Go Well

(Newser) – It's Super Bowl week, no better time for Jeopardy! to roll out questions under the category of "Talkin' Football." Based on Thursday's show, however, Alex Trebek and company might not try it again. All three contestants displayed comic ineptness, which had the host delivering some "grade-A Trebek sass," notes Mashable. At one point, he suggested, "Let's look at the thousand-dollar clue, just for the fun it," guessing (correctly) that it would go unanswered. See for yourself in the video here. Some answers were a little obscure, such as knowing that the Minnesota Vikings once had a defensive line known as the "Purple People Eaters," but others, including knowing what a "fair catch" is, were easier.
