(Newser) – As Tony Blair prepares to leave office, one of those uneasy about his legacy is his queen, who the Telegraph reports is "exasperated and frustrated" at the effect of 10 years of New Labour rule. Queen Elizabeth is said to be unhappy about Blair's  "overstretching"  the military in Iraq and Afghanistan, and too much time spent buttering up the US.

But most of all the 81-year old monarch is annoyed by his  meddling with the heritage (House of Lords reforms) and  his lack of understanding of countryside issues (outlawing of fox hunting). Insiders speculate that Blair may snub the Queen by not hosting a traditional dinner in her honor when he departs.
