(Newser) – It looks like President Trump will skip the second White House Correspondents Dinner of his presidency, as he did with the first. In a radio interview Friday, Trump said he'd "probably" avoid the April 28 event because the press is "so bad and so fake," per the Hill. The White House Correspondents' Association confirmed Trump was unlikely to appear, but said White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders would represent him. Politico reports the dinner will honor CNN, a frequent Trump target, and NBC News' Lester Holt, who had Trump admit that an investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 election influenced his decision to fire former FBI Director James Comey.
