A model-actor who had roles in the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless has been convicted of child molestation. People reports that Corey Sligh was found guilty last month in his native Georgia on charges he molested a girl under 10 years old in 2016. Police said he knew the victim, and he was arrested in his hometown of Canton before pleading not guilty. Sligh most recently appeared on the long-running soap as an extra in 2014. He is being held in the Cherokee County Jail and faces up to 20 years in prison once he's sentenced.

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old is slated to be tried on a separate molestation charge in Florida, reports the Cherokee Tribune. In that case, Okaloosa County chief assistant attorney Bill Bishop said Sligh is charged with lewd and lascivious molestation after a woman told police in Walton County he touched her daughter while on a vacation in 2016. If convicted on the Florida count, Sligh faces 25 years to life in prison. (More The Young and the Restless stories.)
