Uma Stalker Says He Meant No Harm

Bizarre missives were just creative writing, he tells court

(Newser) – A man accused of stalking Uma Thurman for years has told a court he never meant to scare the star, the New York Post reports. Jack Jordan says the bizarre letters he sent Thurman—including pictures of razor blades and open graves, descriptions of aborted fetuses, and reference to her children being "an illusion"—were just creative writing.

Jordan, who faces a year in jail if convicted of stalking and harassment, said he had had a crush on Thurman since high school and saw clues in her movies that she might love him back. “To me, it seemed almost as if Uma was courting me,” the former psychiatric patient told the court. “We were engaged in a game of cat and mouse.”
