The man accused of murdering Mollie Tibbetts will stand trial in April. Cristhian Bahena Rivera on Wednesday pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder during his arraignment in Montezuma, Iowa. KCRG reports the 24-year-old waived his right to a speedy trial, and an April 16 trial date was set. He remains jailed on a $5 million cash-only bond and faces life in prison without parole if convicted, reports the Des Moines Register. (More Mollie Tibbetts stories.)
