(Newser) – Ever had that frustrated feeling that you're 100% correct about something but no one is listening to you? The folks mentioned by Listverse in a vindication ranking of sorts would have commiserated. These were people "silenced by other parties that either didn't believe them or had their own personal interests." And not having their assertions taken seriously wasn't the end of it: Some suffered in their careers, while others faced physical violence. Here, five whose notions should've been lightbulb notions but were quashed instead:
