Fourth sneakered foot in 10 months washes up on shore

(Newser) – A fourth foot in a sneaker has washed up on a Canadian shore, leaving investigators more puzzled than ever. Each of the three previous right feet have been in sneakers and have washed up on different islands near Vancouver over the last 10 months, reports the Globe and Mail. The feet don't appear to have been "forcibly removed," said an investigator. "They may be connected. We're exploring every scenario."

(NEWSER) - Being stuck in a wheelchair didn't stop a Vancouver man from playing the hero this weekend, when he helped a store clerk fend off an angry customer, CBC reports. The customer was trying to pay with a counterfeit $50 note, and when shopkeeper Cindy Grewal spotted it and refused to return it to him, he angrily went behind the counter. Two fugitives, fiancee may be heading to Canada

(NEWSER) - The remaining two murderous cons who escaped from an Arizona prison and their female accomplice are hiding out in Yellowstone Park, police believe. The trio likely fled to the area after one of the escapees murdered an older couple in New Mexico and stole their pickup truck, according to law enforcement authorities. Police believe they split up in the woods, and that none of them have survivalist or wilderness camping skills. However, "from the start, we believed these individuals would be staying at campgrounds and truck stops and other places like that.
