Tarantino May Turn to Porn for Next Project

Adult star Tera Patrick up for role in remake of '60s cult hit Pussycat

(Newser) – Porn star Tera Patrick is being considered for a role in Quentin Tarantino's remake of Faster Pussycat, Kill! Kill!, the New York Post reports. "Quentin loves her, and she's a dead ringer for original star Tura Satana," says a source. The original cult film, released in 1966, follows three go-go dancers on a violent trip across the desert.

"It would be the hottest remake ever, and I'm honored to be considered," Patrick tells the Post. "I was built for this part."

(NEWSER) - A "bored" London court clerk was busted after looking at hardcore bondage pornography in the middle of a British rape trial. The judge spotted the photos on the clerk's computer as he peered over his bench while the victim described her horrific attack. When the judge "noticed what was taking place, he initially hoped that he had been mistaken or the behavior would desist," according to court records. It didn't. No condom, no film permit under new ordinance

(NEWSER) - Los Angeles has defied the porn industry's threat to quit the city and passed a law requiring porn actors to wear condoms during filming. The City Council voted 9-1 for final approval of the ordinance, which is set to go into effect in 90 days, the Los Angeles Times reports. A film permit fee will fund surprise inspections on porn shoots. California occupational health authorities already require porn actors to wear condoms, but that rule is almost never enforced, Reuters notes. More»

(NEWSER) - No condom might equal no sex for the nation's biggest porn industry. The Los Angeles City Council has given preliminary approval to a law requiring porn actors to practice safe sex during filming, the Los Angeles Times reports.
