(Newser) Dancing With the Stars hunk Jason Taylor is a Dolphin no longer. After spending his career in Miami, the defensive end will head for Washington after the teams agreed on a trade that sends two Redskins draft picks to the Dolphins, the Miami Herald reports. "I love Miami, will always cherish my 11 years with the Dolphins," said Taylor, promising to remain a fan.

The Redskins found themselves in need of a new defensive end after Phillip Daniels injured himself in a fall the first day of training camp. In return for sending Taylor to Washington, Miami will get a second-round pick next year and a sixth-round pick in 2010. Many fans see the loss of the popular Taylor as the end of an era.
