In student survey, Ohio U. finishes second

(NEWSER) - Good news for parents paying for their kids to study at the University of Georgia: The school is finally No. 1. The bad news: The Princeton Review list ranks the nation's top party schools. (NEWSER) - Penn State has knocked the University of Florida from its No. 1 spot … atop the Princeton Review’s “Best Party School” list. Each year, the Review ranks schools in a huge number of categories based on surveys of their students. Princeton Review dons a toga and lists the top party schools

(NEWSER) - Students are knocking back celebratory shots and administrators are tearing their hair over the Princeton Review's annual list of the top 20 party schools. The full list appears in the 2008 edition of The Best 366 Colleges, on sale today.

(NEWSER) - Promising to make the ranking an annual tradition, Playboy today named its top 10 US party schools, using an algorithm weighing hot temperatures, guy-girl ratio, empty rooms available for sex, and even GPA. “Think of this as a BCS rating, but unlike the BCS we welcome your input,” the editors write—and, fittingly, the University of Miami tops a list heavy with sports powerhouses. “When you combine weather and women, no city in the country is hotter than Miami.” More»
