(Newser) – Shia LaBeouf still faces misdemeanor DUI charges, but he was not to blame for an early-morning car wreck in Los Angeles, authorities said today. Detectives determined that the other driver, who has not been identified, ran a red light and will be cited. LaBeouf, who underwent hand surgery after the crash, "was not at fault," a sheriff's spokesman said.

Meanwhile, the passenger in LaBeouf's vehicle has been identified as Isabel Lucas, a 23-year-old Australian who plays a supporting role in the upcoming Transformers movie starring LaBeouf. She was not injured, nor was the driver of the other car, which collided with LaBeouf's pickup truck about 3am Sunday.
