(NEWSER) - Like father, like son. Nick Nolte's son Brawley has been busted in Santa Monica on suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance, according to cops. The 23-year-old sometimes-actor, who played Mel Gibson's son in Ransom, was nabbed after an accident on the Pacific Highway and a series of sobriety tests, Radar reports. Actor and playwright Sam Shepard faces charges of drunken driving and speeding after being pulled over in Normal, Ill., the Bloomington Pantagraph reports. Shepard, 65, who won the Pulitzer for his 1979 play Buried Child, reportedly had a blood-alcohol level twice the legal limit.
