Hamas Kills Off Farfour, the Cuddly Jihadist

Posted Jun 29, 07 3:39 PM CDT in Arts & Living

(Newser) – The lovable Farfour, a Mickey Mouse knockoff who taught Palestinian tots to take up the fight against Israel, has met a bloody end in his series on Hamas frequency Aqsa TV. An Israeli land-grabber characterized as a "terrorist" murdered Farfour in the show's finale, broadcast throughout the Palestinian territories today.

"Farfour was martyred while defending his land," the announcer on Tomorrow's Pioneers mourned. Farfour, whose name means butterfly, had been roundly condemned by unamused critics in Israel and the US, as well as by rival Fatah. Station execs say they don't know what will replace the radical rodent.
