Muslim Massacre, a Web-based game where players aim to “wipe out the Muslim race,” has earned widespread condemnation from Islamic groups, the Guardian reports. In the game, the US has declared war on Islam and the unnamed “American hero” slaughters terrorists and civilians alike to face Osama bin Laden, Muhammed—and ultimately Allah.

"This game is glorifying the killing of Muslims in the Middle East,” said the UK’s Ramadan Foundation, which urged service providers to remove the game’s host site from servers. The game’s creator seems untroubled: “Don't whinge about how offensive and 'edgy' this is,” Sigvatr wrote on the SomethingAwful.com forum. “The bottom line is that I enjoyed making it and it's fun to play.” (More censorship stories.)
