A Phoenix shopper found that out the extremely painful way when he tucked his girlfriend's pink pistol into his waistband and it accidentally discharged in a grocery store parking lot—sending a bullet ripping through his penis and left leg. Adult gunman in custody

(NEWSER) - A top Iowa high school football coach is dead after he was shot by a former player in the school’s weight room—with students nearby today, the Gazette of Cedar Rapids reports. Ed Thomas was shot point-blank in the head; no one else was hurt. The suspect, 24-year-old Mark Becker, is in custody. (NEWSER) - The man shot at Harvard University yesterday has died, the Boston Globe reports. The still-unidentified victim was shot in the entrance of a residence hall, and taken to a hospital in what police described at the time as stable condition.
