Cowell Gave Ex $10M 'Goodbye Gift'

$5M in cash and a Beverly Hills pad for Seymour

(Newser) – Though not bound by any laws, Simon Cowell gave his ex-girlfriend $9.6 million in “goodbye gifts” after she dumped him six weeks ago. Terri Seymour, who reportedly ended their 6-year courtship because he wouldn’t get married or have kids, got $5 million in cash and a $4.6 million mansion in Beverly Hills from the American Idol judge, Life & Style reports.

“Simon thinks the world of Terri, and that isn't going to change. He also understands her reason for ending it,” a source said of Cowell, 49. The 34-year-old TV presenter and model is now rumored to be dating actor Stephen Dorff, whom she met in September.
