ABC Scores Interview With Spitzer's 'Kristen'

'Ashley Dupre story' to air next Friday

(Newser) – Eliot Spitzer’s lady of the night met with Diane Sawyer this week for her first-ever interview, set to air next Friday, Gawker reports. “This is not the Eliot Spitzer story. This is the Ashley Dupre story,” an ABC source tells MediaBistro. The call girl in the sex scandal that brought down New York’s former governor was paid a hefty fee—not for the interview, but for “consulting” and “archival footage,” in standard interview practice.
