(Newser) – A terrorist inside Mumbai's Oberoi hotel, in which dozens of hostages remain trapped, has demanded the release of Islamic militants imprisoned in Indian jails. The man made his call for the release of "mujahedeens" in a phone call to an Indian television station. He added that he belonged to an Indian group that sought an end to persecution of Muslims, reports the Guardian.
