Custody of couple's children yet to be settled

(AP) - Madonna has settled her divorce with Guy Ritchie for at least $76 million, the singer's rep said today. "I'd assume it's one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement," Liz Rosenberg told the AP. The settlement could total as much as $92 million, including the value of the couple's home in western England. Ritchie will also hang on to a pub the couple owns in London. She added while the financial component of the settlement had been worked out, custodial arrangements for the couple's children have yet to be finalized. More»

Denies media reports of $60M deal

(AP) - Madonna's divorce settlement with estranged husband Guy Ritchie has yet to be finalized, the singer's publicist said today. In a brief email sent to the AP, Liz Rosenberg wrote, "I will not be commenting on the various reports regarding the divorce or of the settlement, which has not been finalized." The Sun and the Mail today reported that the two had struck a $60 million deal over their finances and how to split their property, with the Mail also reporting that they had agreed on a child-custody arrangement.
