Activists Hit 'Fur-Hag' Aretha's Star

Activists dub celebs 'fur hags'

(Newser) – January has not been kind to the queen of soul. First Aretha Franklin was mocked for her ginormous inauguration hat, and now her Walk of Fame star has been vandalized, Perez Hilton reports. Anti-fur activists scrawled “Fur Hag” across her star in Hollywood after doing the same thing to the Olsen twins' star Sunday.

Calling graffiti "domestic terrorism" is a bit of an overstatement. Relax Corona_dude........... Reply

For someone who is a celebrity, and I do admire her, she's clearly out of touch with today's issues... Reply

i actually agree only alittle with c_k, PETA and the ALF are indeed organizations of very questionable repute. extremists of each side, right or left, are very dangerous. when i was in school, i don't remember "leftist dogma" being taught to me. i remember what was thought i was supposed to know being taught to me, and then thinking for myself. clearly, not everyone does that.. PETA has a long history of "activism"....on behalf of the animals....but they tend to go waaaay to far to the left....those jerks need to leave Mr's Aretha alone.....PETA is nothing more than a form of domestic terrorism as far as I am concerned.....It's not a "they are wrong because the disagree with me" thing either" ...They have burned, and or vandalized or de-faced a lot of things in the name of thier cause, and in some cases, caused the death of some people, as a result of their activism.......and on that note, I'm going to go beat a rabbit in the head with a bat, skin it , and cook it, and eat it...lol...riff Reply
